ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
The information provided and prices quoted by Green & Yellow Tours are based on prevailing tariffs, costs, and taxes, often determined months before the travel season. The information and opinions we offer regarding national parks, animal sightings, accommodation, itineraries, activity permits (such as gorilla and chimp tracking, fishing, and photography), and security are given in good faith. Green & Yellow Tours partners with independent suppliers for transportation, accommodation, excursions, and other services. We cannot be held liable for changes in information provided by these third parties.
PRICE QUOTATION
It is essential to crosscheck the information in the quotation to ensure clarity and accuracy. The final price of your safari package will be confirmed upon receipt of your booking. We reserve the right to correct errors in both quotations and invoices promptly. In the unlikely event that your safari package cost increases by more than 10% of the original invoice amount, you may cancel your booking within 14 days of the surcharge notice and receive a full refund of all payments, except for gorilla permit fees.
SAFARI PACKAGE
Green & Yellow Tours reserves the right to alter safari services agreed with the client in unforeseen circumstances such as road closures, bad weather, issues with national parks or hotels, or security considerations. In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made as circumstances permit.
GORILLA PERMITS
Full payment is required for gorilla and chimpanzee tracking fees. Permits are highly competitive, so early booking confirmation is essential. Permits can only be purchased after receiving payment from the relevant authority. Refunds for cancellations are at the discretion of the relevant authority, and Green & Yellow Tours cannot accept liability for them. However, we will do our best to obtain a refund and pass it on to the client if granted.
INSURANCE POLICY
We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical expenses, and other potential risks. Green & Yellow Tours is not liable for any costs incurred due to lack of adequate travel insurance.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Before traveling, please ensure you have received all necessary vaccinations and taken appropriate health precautions. Consult your doctor for advice specific to your travel itinerary.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
If you have any special dietary requirements or accessibility needs, please inform us in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your requests and ensure a comfortable and enjoyable safari experience.
LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
Green & Yellow Tours cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from unforeseen events such as natural disasters, political instability, or other force majeure circumstances beyond our control.
PAYMENT
To confirm your booking, you must accept these terms and conditions and pay a deposit of at least 30% of the quoted price. For gorilla tracking, full advance payment of the permit fee is required. If written acceptance is not received, acceptance of the Terms and Conditions will be assumed once the deposit is made. The balance must be paid in full before the start of the safari, ideally before arrival. We may request full payment at least 30 days before the safari begins. Payments should be made to the company account stated on the invoice. If in doubt, contact Green & Yellow Tours for confirmation of bank details.
CANCELLATIONS BY US
While we strive to avoid cancellations, Green & Yellow Tours reserves the right to cancel confirmed bookings due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances. We will not cancel your confirmed holiday less than 60 days before departure unless forced by extraordinary circumstances. If we cancel your holiday (excluding non-payment or force majeure), we will offer an alternative holiday of similar standard, refund the difference if less expensive, or request the difference if more expensive. Alternatively, you may receive a full refund of all payments except for gorilla permit fees. We are not liable for any expenses incurred due to cancellations. We also reserve the right to terminate the holiday of any person in your party causing danger, annoyance, or distress, with no refunds or additional expenses covered.
CANCELLATIONS BY YOU
If you need to cancel or amend your booking, Green & Yellow Tours will assist where possible. Requests must be in writing and signed by the booking signatory. If canceling due to illness, work, or other commitments, it may be possible to transfer the package to an acceptable person. The request must be made at least two weeks in advance and include full details of the replacement, who must agree to the terms and conditions. Complete cancellations are subject to the cancellation fees policy, and we cannot guarantee resale of your safari package.
CANCELLATION FEES POLICY
For cancellations, the following fees apply per person as a percentage of the safari package cost, based on when the notice was received:
• 45-90 days or more before arrival: 30% of the tour price
• Within 45 days of the tour departure date or no show: 100% of the tour price
