Your Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival in Uganda.

You will arrive at Entebbe international airport today – the gateway into Uganda. You will be received by our representative and assisted through emigrations formalities. Afterwards, you will meet your safari guide with whom you will experience the best of Uganda. He will transfer you to your hotel for the night. You will receive a briefing about the safari and will be assisted if you would like to exchange money.

Day 2 | Murchison falls via Zziwa Rhinos sanctuary

The 6-hour journey to Murchison falls national park includes a stop for a nature walk at Ziwa rhinos sanctuary. Here you will also have lunch. Upon arrival in the park, drive to the top of the thundering Murchison waterfalls for a brief walk to the top. Drive to your lodge for the night.

Day 3 | Private Safari in Murchison Falls

Set off for a game drive at 6am – an opportunity to view some of the 76 mammals’ species and 451 birds’ species found in the park. At midday, you will go for a private boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to see more animals drink on the riverbanks. You will have a picnic lunch. Close the day with another game drive until sunset.

Day 4 | Flight to Kasese – Kibale Forest National Park

You will have one last early game drive before exiting the park. In the afternoon, you will take a flight to Kasese airstrip. You will be received and transferred to Kibale Forest – the primates capital of Uganda. Stop for photography at the rift valley escarpment and tea plantations. Check in at your accommodation in the evening and relax.

Day 5 | Chimpanzee tracking. Afternoon Bigodi swamp walk

Chimpanzee tracking starts with briefing at 8am and lasts for 3-4 hours. You will walk with informative rangers and have an hour to observe and photograph the chimps as they forage in the jungle. In the evening, you will have a guided walk in Bigodi swamp for birding.

Day 6 | Queen Elizabeth national park – Kazinga channel boat ride

Check out from Kibale and drive for 2 hours to Queen Elizabeth national park. Upon arrival, have a game drive in search of the abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, take a 2-hour boat ride on Kazinga channel. Drive to Ishasha sector and check in at your lodge.

Day 7 | Full day safari for tree-climbing lions

Start your game drive at 6am today. The morning is perfect to spot predators hunting. You will have a bush breakfast before searching further in the plains. Return to the park in the evening for another game drive until sunset.

Day 8 | Drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park

Drive to Bwindi after breakfast. Have a few stops along the way. Check in at your lodge for lunch. In the evening, have a guided community tour in Bwindi.

Day 9 | Gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park

Follow trails in the thick jungle of Bwindi with informative ranger guides until you find the Gorillas. You have an hour to observe, photograph and record the Gorillas. Return to your lodge and relax.
