Your Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in Kigali
Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, you will be received by our representative and assisted through emigrations formalities. Afterwards, you shall be driven to your accommodation in Kigali city.

Day 2 | Nyanza Kings’ Palace – Nyungwe Forest National Park
Enroute to Nyungwe National Park, visit Nyanza palace – the seat of the defunct Kingdom of Rwanda. Nyungwe forest harbors 13 primates’ species including chimpanzees. Check in at your accommodation.

Day 3 | Chimpanzee Tracking & Canopy Walk
Chimpanzee tracking can last for between 2-5 hours depending on the location of the chimpanzees. You will spend an one hour interacting, photographing and observing the animals. Take on a thrilling canopy walk in Nyungwe forest in the afternoon.

Day 4 | Drive to Gisenyi – Boat Ride on Lake Kivu
Exit Nyungwe and head North-west along Lake Kivu frontier. The drive to Lake Kivu takes 5 hours. In the evening take a boat cruise on Lake Kivu.

Day 5 | Optional Activities on Lake Kivu
You may choose to do any of the following optional activities on Lake Kivu; kayaking, biking, tour of fishing villages, tour of Gisenyi town or a fishing experience with local fishermen. You may choose to relax all day at your hotel.

Day 6 | Volcanoes National Park – Iby’Iwachu Village Tour
Drive to Volcanoes national park after breakfast. In Musanze, visit Iby’Iwachu cultural village to experience Rwandese culture on your way to your accommodation.

Day 7 | Gorilla Trekking – The Ellen DeGeneres Gorilla Campus
Follow trails in the park at the foot of The Virunga Mountain ranges with informative ranger guides until you find the Gorillas. You have an hour to observe, photograph and record the Gorillas as they feed and groom each other. Visit The Ellen DeGeneres conservation campus in the evening.

Day 8 | Akagera National Park
This morning, you will drive to Akagera National Park via Kigali city. Check in at your accommodation upon arrival.

Day 9 | Game Drive & Boat Ride
Early in the morning you will embark on a game drive in Akagera National Park. Look out for the lion pride and other wildlife in the area. A boat trip on Lake Ihema to see large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles and abundant waterbirds on the lake.

Day 10 | Drive to Kigali. City Tour & Departure
Depart from Akagera National Park for Kigali city in the morning. Visit The Genocide Memorial Museum, Kandt Museum and a local crafts market or a groceries market. In the evening, drive to Kigali International airport and check in for your departure flight to your next destination.
